Daryl Thompson
My name is Daryl Thompson and I’m an automotive artist from Houston Texas. I started my art career working as an animator and a graphic designer. After working twenty years in the corporate world, I decided to become an entrepreneur.
I knew this was a good time to branch off on my own and follow my dream! I have always loved drawing cars and I decided to take my automotive artwork more seriously. I discovered my love of drawing cars when I was asked to develop Hot Rod slot machine games. My first car drawings were rough, but I learned automotive illustration using the basic drafting tools. I now draw all of my automotive drawings by hand using an Apple pencil on my iPad Pro with the Procreate painting app.
